VN - Ren'Py - Stray Incubus [S2 Ch.1b] [Flynn974]

This is a top S tier VN. There's no second thought about this. Disregard the toxic forum this game has with a few tender softies whining about their preferred content or the lack there of. The dev has done amazing stuff with this game and he should be given all the creative freedom to do so. Don't like it, move on!

As for the game,
+ Amazing art - the renders, animation are one of the best. The game starts off with very mid, choppy scenes but it goes to be better and better every update. As others pointed out, its nice to see how Flynn progressed with his art as the game moved on.
+Animations - The animations are fluid, perfectly made cinematic cutscenes. Cant stress this enough!!
+ The storytelling, world building and the lores are quite tight. Every character is well fleshed out and you can relate to the emotions.
+Beautiful LIs - well diversified set of girls

The only thing I have a nudge about (again like many others have mentioned) - The H scenes are abrupt. They dont have a lot of build up and before you know the girl is pumping your incubi horse dick. So the essence of a romantic setup, the tease and tension is missing.

Nonetheless, its one of the best game out here. 100% recommend. Best of luck to the dev.

This is a top-tier game -- a gem that doesn't seem to be as "visible" on the site as other AAA titles but is deserving of the same attention. The production value is high with beautiful girls, renders and animations. The story has a lot of familiar themes but remixes them in inventive ways to tell a new fantasy narrative. The game has a lot of similarities to another massively-popular Honey Select 2 VN (even overtly referencing it in its storytelling) but players will be able to enjoy both titles in their own ways.

Premise: MC discovers he is an incubus, a humanoid with demonic powers, and joins an all-female fantasy ninja clan involved in a epic battle between Greek mythological figures. Along the way, MC explores his abilities, gains experience as a warrior, completes quests and woos almost every female he encounters.

The Good

• Gorgeous Honey Select 2 models -- some of the best execution of the engine in any VN
• A number of love interests and paths that don't necessarily exclude one another
• The love interests are well-developed with meaningfully different personalities, motivations and back stories
• An original story that draws from many fantasy / mythological sources but still feels entirely fresh
• Genuinely funny dialogue / exchanges
• Hours and hours of content
• Many H-scenes -- some meaningfully advance the story and others are more throw-away

The Not-So-Good

• While the story is solid overall, some scenes are a bit flimsy and the narrative is shallow in some places
• The MC initially appears quite innocent and naive but quickly turns out to be an experienced stud -- breaks some of the immersion
• While most of the H-scenes feature animation, many of the animation sequences could be improved
• Mild horror elements can be a bit disturbing

Overall, an outstanding title with a lot of content and beautiful character models. Can't go wrong.

Okay. Stray Incubus is one of those games that is rather difficult to categorise. The MC is incubus (a male succubus) who joins to ninja academy. His main enemy is Athena (the Greek Goddess) and the missions in their theme are horror. Yes, you read that correctly. Only the Vikings are missing.

As you can see, the world building is the most unimaginative you can make off. Everything is blended up together without any main theme, and on top of that you are the only male in otherwise all-female ninja academy. Yes, prepare your dick. You will drown in pussy.

When the game begins you will laugh and fall into desperation. The renders are clumsiest and oldest you can find, possible made with windows 95. But hey! I gave 5/5 so something good must be here right?

While the worldbuilding is nonsensical the plot is really good. Basically there are never boring scenes, something always happens, and the characters are all well made. And the best part is, the renders keep improving! As the game goes on this becomes very noticeable, that the first and very clumsy sex-scenes keep improving until they are the top tier. There is also an excellent cucking scene, simply a master piece I say.

Of the missions. First they suck and are rather clumsy. But as the plot goes on these improve as well in all possible manners, from renders to atmosphere. Also, it seems there were some low-IQ players who never made out of the labyrinth. I hope you are not one of them

Overall Stray Incubus is one of these games that surprised me, and often as I recommend Dev to remaster his early game here I don't. Like, it is simply a pleasure to see how the Dev is improving as the plot goes on, thus making this game an excellent example how you can be a total n00b and with hard work make it to the top. A degenerate version of from rags to riches I say.

This is an excellent game! The humor was on point, made me laugh sooo many times. The characters and story both kept me interested, and I'm looking forward to more. The only constructive criticism I can think of is as of S2e1 the mc is a tad overpowered. It's been demonstrated that he can be beat, but careful about making him too strong in the future. 5/5 and will be keeping an eye on it!

Great game so far.
-Story: Very interesting and engaging plots. I never got bored. There were some minigames that I liked. Some scenes were very kinky
-Characters: Girls are great, their designs are kinda mehh during first chapters but they improve as the game progresses, in fact, they improved to a degree that I couldn't recognize some girls xD. Characters development was mostly good (very well written).
-Renders: Very good specially in the last chapters.
-Animations: Good enough.
-Music: Nice tunes.

Overall I'd give this AVN an 8/10, story is getting better and better. It's worth checking out.

Cool game, that gets terrifically better the more you play.
It's great to see how the author has improved during the making of this game.

But overall.
The game-flow consists of 2 parts:

1) Sex scenes.
Which are hot, intense, kinky, and with great camera work.
The only thing I didn't like was the music. It's - on the contrary - not intense enough. Either slow airy ambient, or some 'joke strings'.
And on top of it: the music OUT of the sex scenes was too good to simply turn it off . So during every sex scene, I had to:
- Go into the Options.
- Turn off the music.
- Play something more intense on my own computer.
- Then repeat it in reverse after the sex scene is over. Each of them.
Annoying.
There's a mindblowing fuck going on the screen, but the music is like you are under the tree reading a book and seeping some tea with your girlfriend...

2) Story Adventures.
The second part of the game.
Emotional thriller with a mystery on top.
Not a Shakespear, but very entertaining.
And it provides much-needed breathing time between the mindblowing sex.
I enjoyed it very much.
Greatly done.
But.

Here comes the biggest drawback of this whole game:
These two parts are not connected in ANY way.
There's no teasing during the story bits that will make you anticipate the next sex scene. And there's no character revelation during the sex-talk that will impact the story in the future.
The plot just doesn't build towards a sex scene.
There's a great story - on its own. And then sex "just happens".
And then repeat.
I genuinely lost count of all the lost opportunities during story missions:
- For resolving conflict with sex.
- For getting information with sex/seduction.
- For innuendoes.
- Touching.
- Sexual tension.

Why my moral choices are about "Kill or not to kill" instead of "Throat fuck this ghost that possessed your friend into submission or soothe it with head pats and kisses"?

Why am I breaking out of the twins' illusion by sitting on my ass and out meditating them - instead of trapping them in my own illusion in response and mind-break each of them in front of the other - making them jealous-horny-crying until they give it up?

What type of game am I playing??

Fun power fantasy AVN. Pretty much hits every trope, but the snappy writing, endearing cast, cool action scenes, and interesting mysteries makes this a gem among the rest. Starts kinda rough, but it quickly picks up and carries itself through several awesome story arcs. Eagerly waiting for more.

wow.. just.. wow.. If ever there was a VN that earned the term dont judge a book by its opening chapter THIS is it.. i finally gave this title a chance and once past the initial opening work that i found weird looking and as the vastly better art work came along i was hooked.. Not only by the art, characters, animations but as a whole the title is just amazing.. The story is gripping and even tho its jump scare happy lol It has such depth to the story and its characters..
Some feel left by the wayside sometimes like Centoria but small hints at more creep in towards the end of season 1 for her and other neglected characters.. The story has some great twists and moments of hightened drama and action.. The finale being just one exception of how VNs can and should be structured..
This title deserves any and all credit it gets and i highly encourage those who skipped it based on the season 1 beginnings to stick it out.. you wont have to wait long for tat awful hat and cardigan to vanish and get into a truly polished and amazing looking piece with quite a good array and well used cast pf characters and cameo's from other hit titles like Stormside and Eternum..

The game offers an intriguing story with captivating characters and appealing animations. The humor is well-executed and refreshing in the realm of erotic VN. Thanks to the developer for this enjoyable experience. A must-play for anyone seeking something special.

it has a very compelling story and lore and every chapter is like a story in itself which in turn weaved together by the larger story of the game
characters are also very much real, with every one of them having distinctive traits and vices.

This game has much going for it, but the drawbacks are unfortunately largely ruining the experience for me.

Let's start with the positives. The story-telling and creation of lore in this game is impressive. You are the lone male in a ninja-for-hire dojo, taking on missions with your female collegues, and it is all fun and engaging. The girls in the game are quite varied and looks great, with graphics getting better as you go through the updates. Even without the lewd scenes you can have fun playing this game.

The negative is that the inclusion of lewd scenes doesn't improve the experience by much, because they are mostly quite disappointing. There's so much build-up with getting to know the girls, them catching feelings for the MC, some flirting... and then a time-skip to the middle of a sex scene with the girls being paralyzed by pleasure. The pacing of build-up to reward is completely off. This happens time and time again, making it clear that the creator is not comfortable in making lewd scenes happen organically and instead just inserts sex haphazardly in what is otherwise a carefully crafted game. There's also a very out-of-place punishment system in the dojo, which seems a way to shoehorn in BDSM content into the game.

There's a good amount of humor in the game, and some of the sex scenes start in a ridiculous manner for comedic effect, but effective use of humor includes knowing when it's time for comedy and when it's not. Given that this is an adult VN, the poor execution of lewd content means I cannot give it more than 3/5 in an otherwise very promising game.

One of the best AVN stories out there in my opinion. Not the great start specially in the graphics area but once you get passed a certain point in the game it actually becomes better. Have one of the best character designs in my opinion and if your looking for just a straight up story telling game, i think this game might interest you.
My only critic at the moment is that the scenes are kinda rush at some are way too short. Other than that, this game have great interesting story line, funny moments and great character design

Well, this one was surprising. The game suffers from severely misleading packaging. From the synopsis, I thought I'd be getting some low-quality Nukige around an Incubus, but there's surprising amounts of depth to this.

The actual story is very far removed from what I thought it'd be, and it's actually quite interesting overall and revolves around a ninja village and the missions that our MC embarks as one of the ninjas... alongside some mysteries in each of the missions and the overall storyline of his past and his heritage.

Overall, the game was refreshingly good. I expected something, and instead got something else that was a dozen times better, while still obtaining what I originally thought I'd get anyway (incubus sex magic and stuff). All in all, this is a nice little gem. The ambience is set nicely, dark scenes are dark enough, sandbox elements are often optional and this is an insanely strong point, dialogue is interesting and doesn't drag on, and there's a large and interesting cast of characters. Heavily recommended.

Overall, I rate the VN/game as good, however; a few glaring issues kept it from hitting the five star for me personally.
I enjoy the story, though the choice driven scenes of wandering around in a foggy dream or illusion is really no choice since it is just one choice to get to the actual progress scene and the rest of the "choices" are just dead ends. Could have just shortened the development, coding, and scene generation and made the entire thing linear if there are no other branching scenes with meaning.
The choices about whether to go for a particular girl or not are good though.
The MC, like in many games, looks like an emaciated 12 year old with a baseball bat in his pants. I get the incubus aspect is going to hang him like a horse, but seeing the other incubus dudes out there, like the General, I mean, could he be at least a little more manly looking in the rest of this body for a supposed 20 year old? This may have been a story to make it completely first person and forget about trying to show the MC at all. There does seem to be some attempt to modify the MC in the second half, but his face still gives 12 year old vibes due to the oversized eyes and somewhat effeminate features.
The sex scenes in the first half of the VN/game I have played thus far are relegated to hand jobs and blowjobs with the only real action occurring from the sluttier older women with bad attitudes/personalities. Why would anyone give them the time of day? Would not an incubus be going for the real action with the younger ladies/MILFS with better personalities instead of just settling for hands and mouth? I mean.. he is an incubus after all. They are known for certain things. I get that he is trying to be a nice guy, but even a nice guy with incubus powers can get a little poon tang from the young curious ladies and the doting motherly MILFS. The fact that he is trying to be a nice guy might actually preclude him from wanting the sluttier ladies after all. In the second half, the situation reverses with the actually desirable ones in a rush to be devirginized all at once. Could have spaced it out a bit more over the course of the VN to keep it from feeling rushed.
All in all a very good VN.. I am sure there are people out there that are more into fetish BJ, hand job, and Cruella MILF attitude ladies unlike me, so those would just be my personal preferences for the more innocent, nicer, traditional scenes with actual vaginal sex spaced out earlier in the story.

Just finished the season 1 and have to say this game made me swallow my prejudice.

The good:
*absolutely every girl ir beautiful, in their own sizes and shapes.
*The story is awesome and made me even forget this is a porngame in various momments, expecially in the Mirror chapter and the second Dream Training. The mystery, horror eviroment and puzzles where great.
*The Mc is perfect in his personality and habilities. He is inocent and naive at the biggining of the story, but not in a bad way. He is not useless but is not invencible either, and never have his ass kicked by everyone who appears. It shows escpecialy in the last fight. I never play any VN with sound, but this game made me enable the music and the sound effects.
*The devs respect the Female Domination and Male Domination tags, giving the players the option to chose between both.
*The harem tag is a bit in construction yet. Most of the sex with girl are in secret, but i'm sure with a bit of more time the Mc will have true and open harem.
*And of course, Misty is the best girl and whoever say the contrarie is just crazy and have to be burn alive!

The bad:
*The Mc apparence. Most devs have a hard time making a good looking woman, and have even more dificulty making a good looking man, and it seems this dev is a half exception. Its funny and bizarre how this dev could hit so well at the girls looks and miss so hard in the Mc. Every time i see him in the scree i loose imerssion on the story.
I hope for the day when the dev will remake the whole game from the beggining just to change Mc or erase him completely, making a 100% pov story.

I was skeptical at first, to play it or not to play it... Didn´t know much about it and after trying it, the first chapter or so, was "weird", like it didn´t click with me yet.

But OH MY GOD am I so MUCH GLAD I held on and continued playing, because I was so gripped in this, that I had a hard time leaving from PC .

This is going to be a super detailed and very long review of this game because I think it doesn't present itself quite so accuractely and is much better than it seems at first glance, with such a painfully generic description.

There are a thousand of these interchangeable succubus/demon boy stories so sometimes you want to CLEARLY know what you're getting into with these time and file size commitments.

TLDR- Way better than it seems, if you have any interest whatsoever in wholesome cute waifus with adorable interactions and emotional character arcs that you maledom into slobbering incoherent messes of love and cum in highly detailed, interactive sex scenes where your choices more or less matter. Or Naruto.

Finished season 1. well, it was an amazing story, the beginning was slower, then everything interesting begins, the ending really intrigued me, we are looking forward to season 2!

There's nothing to complain about here, more you progress the plot gets more intriguing!
H-scenes are getting hotter.

Animations becomes fiery, as well as stunning cutscenes, as if we were watching an action anime.

Every girls is very beautiful and also the humor is quite interesting, especially when they are jealous because of one incubus

Better than I was expecting as of the end of Season 1

The cast were fun and likeable, the renders were good, the story was interesting even if it won't win any awards. There are a few grammar/spelling errors but nothing too blatant. There were some funny moments, a couple 4th wall breaks, some serious moments, all wrapped up into a neat little package. There is a decent amount of content for the first season so it's a good one to pick up and see if you like it.

The only real downsides I would say would be a relatively basic style of writing for one. Most of the time the inner monologue of characters, or some form of description, is given to you that describe exactly what the "punchline" is rather than letting the scene develop itself. It's not a huge deal but it's just something that I picked up on for my own preferences.
-Side note for the story in general, if you decide to pick this game up, give it a chance. The start was difficult for me to get through but starts getting more interesting once you get to the village and meet more characters.

Another thing that might not be a big deal, but is still noticeable, is there are quite a few sequences that have to play out regardless of whether or not you're spam clicking or holding down skip. So if you ever want to go back to a previous save to try something different to see if it has an effect, your ctrl mashing experience will have a few interruptions. Again though, not a big deal and those sequences need to be there for the most part for continuity or for humor.

And finally, and I hesitate to call it another "small" thing, but the MC has the most egregious case of telephone pole dick I've seen in a long time. Sure he's an incubus and the game doesn't take itself seriously, which is a good thing, but holy mother of rearranged intestines.

All in all though, I do recommend giving it a try. I was entertained throughout and will look forward to more updates.
